Ndera Neuropsychiatric Hospital is the main psychiatric hospital in Rwanda.
We work closely with the Ministry of Health, RBC and the Univ. of Rwanda as well as other international universities, NGOs and institutions.
The psychiatrists at Ndera offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for the full range of psychiatric problems such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosomatic disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma, addiction and neurological conditions such as epilepsy.
Our dedicated psychiatrists work with children, adolescents and adults and frequently collaborate with neurology, nursing and clinical psychology to provide the best possible treatment for our patients through a combination of individual and family psychotherapy and medication.
The Department of Psychiatry also works with the courts in order to provide psychiatric care for those individuals who are also involved with the legal system and have a forensic case.
